646f9e108c Sometime after the events of the Evil Dead movie trilogy, traumatized Ash is still haunted by nightmares, so he decides to return to the cabin in the forest with his new girlfriend and face his fears. History repeats itself. Eight years after the cult trilogy, Ash is back, and so are the deadites. Armed with a shotgun, a chainsaw, and a mouth full of one-liners, Ash battles for his life and the good of mankind through this horrifically funny 3D adventure… Well… maybe just for his life. This game was great for the time period it was released. The intro movie and story to it is amazing, and picks up after where Army of Darkness left off, but once you start actually playing the game, it's basically like playing through the whole Evil Dead trilogy. Just about everything that happens in the movies you have to play through. (Even when you think the game is about to end, you go back in time like in AOD) The game has a perfect sense of eeriness to it and also throws in Bruce Campbell's signature humor. It is one of the few games that held my attention all the way through until I beat it. (Of course I am a huge Evil Dead fan though!) I own this for the Dreamcast and have always found that the games that were released on DreamcastwellPlaystation 2 always played and controlled in a much cleaner fashion on the Dreamcast. Simply put, if you are a fan of Evil Dead, Bruce Campbell and horror games, you will enjoy this game! Me and my buddies are avid Evil Dead fans. We have all seen the three films numerous times. When we heard the made a video game, we went nuts. After buying it we were a little disappointed. The game starts inside the cabin, and it is exactly like it is in the movies! the graphics are good, but it is very hard to play. Killing deadites becomes redundant and the angles are absurd. It's not very fun to play, but it does portray a great story and what else can I say about Bruce Campbell supplying the voice of Ash, a classic. Evil Dead fans should check out, other gamers should avoid.
